Obama On Second Term: "I'd Like To Get As Much Done As Quickly As Possible"
"I'd like to get as much stuff done as quickly as possible," President Obama said about his second term in an interview with Dan Ashley of KGO-TV, a local affiliate of ABC News in San Francisco.
"Even though I'm just starting my second term, I know that, you know, once we get through this year, then people start looking at the midterms. And after that, they start thinking about presidential elections," Obama added.
"The American people don't want us to spend all our time thinking about elections, they want us to do some work. Now's a good time for us to get some things done. America's poised to grow in 2013 and add a lot of jobs as long as Washington doesn't get in the way," he also said.
