Kudlow: Obama Said Pursuit Of Happiness Is Pursuit Of Equal Results
Larry Kudlow, host of the Kudlow Report on CNBC and the Larry Kudlow Show on WMAL-AM, speaks to WMAL-AM about the flaws in Obama's inauguration speech and skyrocketing taxes.
LARRY KUDLOW: "What I heard Mr. Obama basically imply yesterday is that the pursuit of happiness is the pursuit of equality of results. Not the equality of opportunity, but the equality of results. And that he would do what he could to use the government to make everybody more equal, in terms of their income and their life's work. That is exactly wrong. We should be rewarding success; we should be promoting entrepreneurship; we should be promoting individual effort and opportunity, and I didn't hear that. I didn't hear an opportunity speech. I heard an income leveling speech." (WMAL-AM's Mornings On The Mall, January 22, 2013)
