Rep. Ellison: If Republicans Want Cuts, Let's Start With Corporate Welfare
"If Republicans want to do cuts, we should do cuts. But weâ€™re not going to hurt Americans, working, middle class and poor to do it. Weâ€™re going to take away from this corporate welfare," Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) told Current TV's Cenk Uygur.
"Let's start with Medicare Part D and say, 'If you want to save money, you want to cut the deficit, letâ€™s let there be competitive bidding for Medicare Part D prescription drugs.' That would save about $150 billion," Ellison said.
