Pelosi To GOP: "Where Are The Cuts? They're In The Bills That You Have Voted For"
"The fact is the president and Democrats have agreed to $1.6 trillion in cuts in the Budget Control Act and other acts of Congress. Where are the cuts? They’re in bills that you have voted for," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said on the House floor today.
The Budget Control Act was agreed upon in August 2011 after the last debt limit increase.
Pelosi also thanked House Speaker John Boehner for “finally” bringing the “fiscal cliff” negotiations to the floor.
