Reid Proposes To Make Senate "More Efficient" By Changing Filibuster
Nevada Senator Harry Reid (D) and Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell (R) address possible filibuster reform from the Senate floor. Reid says he only wants to change the filibuster when it comes to motions to proceed.
"To the average American, these reforms are just common sense," Reid said on the Senate floor today.
"America believes Congress is broken. Once again the only ones who disagree are Mitch McConnell and Republicans in Congress," Reid added.
