Cantor On Norquist: "It's Not About" The Pledge, It's "About Trying To Solve Problems"
In an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" today, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor says he did not get re-elected because of Grover Norquist's anti-tax pledge. Cantor says he is willing to ignore the pledge in order to avoid the fiscal cliff.
"I will tell you when I go to the constituents that have elected, re-elected me it is not about that pledge. It is really about trying to solve problems," he said in an interview on MSNBC.
