Chambliss: Rice Will "Have To Come In And Testify" At Some Point
"Weā€™ve got to get some State Department officials in to really explain why you send an ambassador basically unguarded with a few Libyan guards," Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia) said on "FOX News Sunday" today.
Chambliss says U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice will have to testify at a Congressional hearing at some point.
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) appeared alongside Chambliss and said a select committee focused solely on Benghazi is unnecessary at this point.
"I respectfully separate from my two amigos on this one,ā€¯ Lieberman said. "This was a tragedy, but doesn't rise to the level of September 11, 2011. Our committees can handle this and come up with the answers."
