Biden: "I Think That We're Going To Win Clearly"
MATTHEWS: Last question, how close is it going to be on Tuesday night?
BIDEN: Look, I don't want to jinx myself. But --
MATTHEWS: Well, then don't. What do you think is going to happen?
BIDEN: I think that we're going to win. I don't think it's going to be close in the Electoral College. I think we're going to win clearly and I think you're going to see -- I think we're going to win this state, Ohio.
I've been in here 23, 24 days, something like that. I think we're going to win Iowa, we're going to win Wisconsin, we're going to win Nevada, we're going to win New Hampshire. I think we've got an even chance of winning Virginia and Florida.
So it could be a big win. And it also could be close. But I think the firewall here of Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa -- I think it's going to hold firm.
MATTHEWS: Talk to your stakeholders. Tell them what they should do on Tuesday.
BIDEN: What they should do is if you can still vote early, vote early. And in the meantime, you got to get out. But don't just vote, bring your mom, bring your dad, bring your cousin, knock on the door of your neighbor, because let me tell you something: the middle class depends on it. It literally depends on it.
MATTHEWS: Vice President Joe Biden, thanks so much for your time. Good luck.
