NY-9 Winner Bob Turner: People Unhappy With Anti-Business Administration
Representative-Elect Bob Turner (R) won Tuesday's special election for the Congressional seat vacated by Anthony Weiner. Turner is the first Republican representing the Queens-based district in over 90 years.
Of the president, Turner said, “The people of this district are really unhappy with his treatment of Israel. And, it’s a very large Jewish district. They’re very unhappy with jobs. They’re very unhappy with the deficit. They’re very unhappy with our inability to return to prosperity. An administration that is perceived anti-business.â€
